Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan (JJSSS) is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 1994 in Ruchi Khand 1, Sharda Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. With over two decades of experience in grassroots initiatives, we are committed to making a difference through education, cultural promotion, women's empowerment, and support for differently-abled children

Our Core Initiatives
Educational and Cultural Events:

We proudly collaborate with the National Book Trust, Govt. of India, to curate exhibitions, workshops, book fairs, and seminars. These enriching events are dedicated to fostering a deep love for learning, celebrating cultural exchange, and providing accessible educational opportunities to all. Through our initiatives, we aim to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and promote lifelong learning for the betterment of our community.

Women's Empowerment:

Empowering women and connecting with underserved communities is a central goal of JJSSS. As Udyamy Mitra and a Cluster Development Agency, we support women’s financial independence and social empowerment.

Differently-Abled Children:

Our organization, operating under the Ministry of Social Justice, is dedicated to assisting children with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities. We focus on skill development, providing essential resources and support for these children to thrive.

Promotion of Urdu Language:

We are committed to promoting the Urdu language among minority and other communities, including Women Self Help Group (WSHG) members. Our programs strive to preserve and celebrate this rich cultural heritage.

To work for sustainable holistic development by empowering women, children, and persons with disabilities (PwDs) through health care, family welfare, vocational/skill development training, and raising awareness on health, education, environmental conservation, social inclusion, and gender equality. This will achieve the overall objectives of the all-round development of deprived sections of society.

Regular Health Camps for Community Well-being

Our organization conducts regular health camps to ensure the well-being of our community. These camps provide essential medical check-ups, screenings, and consultations free of charge, promoting preventive healthcare and early detection. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to serve and educate participants about healthy living practices. Regular Local Project Committee Meetings

As they learn and grow, they're painting a brighter future for themselves and showcasing their incredible potential. Their vibrant works of art will not only beautify spaces but also inspire others, proving that with support and opportunity, every challenge can be transformed into a masterpiece of success.

To Development of Resource person on geometry with hands on activity (Sitapur, Raebareli and Unnao)

Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan has been at the forefront of enhancing educational outcomes through innovative approaches, particularly in the field of geometry. Their initiative to develop resource persons specializing in geometry with a focus on hands-on activities marks a significant stride in this direction. By equipping educators with practical skills and interactive methods, the Sansthan aims to transform traditional teaching paradigms. Their approach involves not just theoretical understanding but also the application of geometric concepts through engaging, tactile experiences. Independence Day Celebration

We celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among the attendees. Children and members of the community participated in various cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits, showcasing the spirit of freedom and unity. Speeches by our leaders highlighted the importance of independence, freedom, and the role of citizens in nation-building. The event also focused on promoting values such as equality, justice, and empowerment, which are core to our mission. To honor the day, we organized activities like tree planting, distributing educational materials to underprivileged children, and offering special services to the community. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of dedication to contributing to the nation's growth and prosperity.

World Space Day

The NGO celebrated World Space Day with an exciting range of activities aimed at fostering curiosity and enthusiasm about space exploration among children and the community. The event kicked off with an interactive session featuring presentations on space missions, discoveries, and the future of space travel. Participants learned about the significance of space research and its impact on technology and everyday life. A series of engaging activities, including model rocket launches, space-themed art competitions, and science exhibitions, allowed children to explore their creativity while learning about the cosmos. Special guest speakers, including local scientists and educators, shared insights on space exploration and its importance in expanding human knowledge. The event concluded with a message emphasizing the limitless possibilities of space exploration and the importance of nurturing scientific curiosity in the younger generation. The celebration left participants inspired and excited about the future of space exploration.

Duchenne Awareness Day

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a severe genetic disorder affecting boys, characterized by progressive muscle weakness. The event aimed to educate the public, provide support to affected families, and promote early diagnosis and research efforts. The day started with a community awareness session, where healthcare professionals shared essential information about DMD, including its symptoms, progression, and available treatments. Experts also highlighted the importance of early intervention and how proper care can improve the quality of life for those living with Duchenne. Families of individuals with DMD were invited to share their experiences, creating an atmosphere of empathy and solidarity. At Jeevan Jyoti, we are dedicated to fostering awareness and support for various causes, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Our collective efforts reflect our belief in the power of empathy and action.
